Reporting

The written radiological report is the most important means of communication between the radiologist and referring medical doctor. It is part of the patient’s permanent health record, and interprets the investigation in the clinical context.

Standard Reporting Structure, Customized Style

To minimize variation between reports our radiologists use a standard reporting structure based on ESR guidelines. We do however acknowledge different needs of the style in which  report content is presented;  a family physician may prefer a different style in presentation of content than an orthopedic surgeon. That’s why we adapt our style of content presentation according to the specialty of the referring physician.
